#2. Modern Family (Disney + Hotstar).
Modern Family revolves around three different types of families (nuclear, blended, and same-sex) living in the Los Angeles area, who are interrelated through wealthy business owner Jay Pritchett and his children, daughter Claire and son Mitchell.
A lot of instances in the show are inspired by real-life incidents in the writers' lives so to mould these in a way that fits our beloved Pritchett and Dunphy clan so well, is an art in itself. There is not a single episode that fails to make you laugh multiple times and we can't say the same for the other sitcoms.
Cam and Mitch are total opposites in terms of extravagance, Claire struggles with Phil's laidback and nonchalant manner, and Jay and Gloria were always frustrated with each other. Modern Family constantly teaches viewers that love is hard work – you fight, you compromise and you make up.
